Salisbury University officials have announced the arrest of a suspect in a series of racist and threatening vandalism incidents on campus this week.
University President Dr. Charles Wight said with the help of the FBI, University Police identified a suspect, who they say is not believed to be a member of the campus community.
The case has been turned over to the Wicomico County State’s Attorney Office for charges and prosecution. We’re awaiting a statement from them with further information on the suspect’s identity and charges he or she may be facing.
It remains unknown whether this suspect was also responsible for a racist message scrawled in a stairwell in the University’s Fulton Hall last semester.
