Man Charged in Princess Anne House Arson

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office has announced the arrest of 31-year-old Quincy Alfred Fontain in connection with an arson at a Princess Anne home.

The fire took place Friday morning at a home in the 11000 block of Church Street in Princess Anne.

Firefighters on scene noticed the charred remains of a fur coat and the smell of gasoline at the home.

Fontain allegedly was at the home the previous evening and was removed after becoming disorderly.

The suspect has been charged with attempted first degree arson, attempted second degree arson, three counts of reckless endangerment and disturbing the peace. He is being held at the Somerset County Detention Center on no bond.
