Salisbury University’s COVID-19 testing dashboard is showing the school has 258 positive cases of the coronavirus.
Within the last week, 234 positive cases were reported.
The school’s positivity rate is at 4 percent, which is above the statewide average of 3.7 percent, but below Wicomico County’s positivity rate of 6.8 percent.
Since August 11, there have been 6,397 tests administered. Students and faculty were required to get a COVID-19 test to return to campus.
SU recently suspended 21 students for failure to comply with the school’s COVID-19 policy.
